• To restore responsibility, ethics and good judgment to City Hall.
  
• To enable the most qualified candidates to run for office, rather than those who are most “connected.”
  

Special interests have been in control of our city government for too long, and it’s time we took our city back! The mission of the San Diego Alliance for Clean Elections is to restore government of the people, by the people, and for the people to San Diego. We will place a grassroots initiative on the 2006 ballot that will provide for full public funding of candidates who agree to accept no money from any other source. Elected officials who owe no favors to anyone other than the citizens they are elected to represent will give us back the kind of government we have always wanted and deserved.
